Giveaway time!!
Right Where I Belong has been released from the warehouse. I have two copies that I would love to give away. And since this story has a lot to do with moving and adjusting to a new place, I want to hear your stories about just that. Any story, any length – tell me about a move you made, your parents made, a friend made. It doesn’t even have to be a change of state, maybe a move from one school to another, one house to another. Natalia’s about to discover her place in the world . . . and it’s not following in her father’s footsteps.
After watching her father jump from one marriage to the next, Natalia has completely written off love. And when her father divorces his third wife—the only one who has been a mother to her—Natalia is ready to write him off too.
Needing a change of scenery, Natalia leaves her home in Spain and relocates with her stepmother to sun-soaked Florida. But she didn’t realize just how far a new school, a new culture, and a new lifestyle would push her out of her comfort zone.
One of her biggest surprises comes from Brian, a pastor’s son with an adorable smile, who loves God with a sincerity that astounds Natalia. She doesn’t want to fall for him, but she can’t seem to avoid him long enough to get him out of her mind.
Love is the last thing Natalia wants. Even so, God has her right where she belongs.
The biggest move I had to make was the decision of moving beyond an eating disorder. This stage of life has truly been one of the toughest and roughest, but God supplies all the strength we need in His name to conquer sin. Truly, victory is half in the decision. I wouldn’t trade this difficult season for anything because I know that in the Lord, all things are possible. Including moving when you’re paralyzed with fear.

I’ve moved around a few times (my dad went to England for a year to study, and I moved house even in Singapore), but my most important move was definitely the my move to Japan this April.
It was the first time I was moving without my family and away from my friends. Despite the fact that this was what I wanted for many years, well, I was scared.
But God has been good. From the start, he brought me to an awesome Church near my school, and since I moved near Easter, I got to go to Church many times and belong to a community right away.
He’s also placed a lot of friends in my class, and I’ve made some truly good friends since coming here. I didn’t expect many Christians here in Japan (it has a notoriously low number of believers), but I’ve found so many more siblings in Christ that I’ve expected.
I still get homesick for Singapore, and many times, I question my decision to come here, but this move I made was really an opportunity that let God show me over and over again just how much He loves me.

Just before 2nd grade, my dad got laid off from his job in New York (not New York City). They took this as a sign that it was time for that move to FLorida that they had always wanted. So, my mom quit her job, we had a yard sale (my dad and I manned it), packed up and left all our friends nd family to move to Florida.
It was pretty hard for me because all of out family lived up in New York as well as all of the friends I had grown up with. I used to be extremely timid. The thought of starting school with all these foreign kids, scared me to death.
It actually turned out pretty good though. We move there, I started school, my mom got a job, and my dad started school to become a nurse.
Hurricane Charlie hit Florida not long after we had arrived. It was our first ever hurricane, but we survived it pretty good as well the others that followed.
We settled in well and all my dad kept saying was how God was really taken care of us. He was right. We had first moved into my grandparents mobile home for the first 3 months, then found an apartment to move into. My mom had found a great job and my dad was able to go thru school. Those first few years we lived off my dads payoff from his old company and my moms work. We couldnt have done it without God. Then, I ended up moving schools again after my dad got a good nursing job and we built a house a town over. I left freinds again, but once again God watched over me and now has given me some of the best Christian friends and teachers.

My biggest move was when I moved from MI to NC as a new bride, leaving behind family, friends, church, and career.
I was a 39 years old when I met my future husband, and I was already well-established in my career and church ministry. He was a college prof living in NC but originally from MI. We believed God brought us together and intended us to marry.
Over 16+ years later, we’re still living in NC and raising our family of internationally adopted children. God has walked with us through mountains and valleys of life.
My family has moved around a lot because my dad is a pastor. Its hard everytime we move to a new place or a new church to start over and try to make new friends and to readjust. I always hated the moving process and the thought of moving to a new place and starting over. After our last move we have made I realized that it didn’t really matter where we were but as long as we were all together as long as we were all still a family, that’s what really mattered. And I realized that it didn’t matter where we lived as long as we were all happy and together that was right where I and we belonged. I’m just 15 and I know we are going to move again so I try to keep this in mind! Regardless of winning this contest I can’t wait to read this next book your other books have been so great and had such a good influence in my life. Keep doing what your doing!
My moving story is about when I left my parents and siblings and relocated to another part of WI, for a guy. The relationship didn’t last, but the move is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I have been extremely blessed in the years since, particularly in employment and friendship. I know I am where God wants me to be, and that future blessings will come my way.
