My best birthday (so far :-)) was probably my 10th. For my birthday I wanted to go out to eat and get pedicures. My mom, sister, and a friend all came. After we got home from getting pedicures my mom surprised me and told me to pack an overnight bag because we were going to go spend the night at a hotel just me and her. It was really fun!

    Happy Birthday Thomas!
    Glad your move went well!

My best birthday was when I was in the 2nd grade. All I wanted was a red shoulder purse. Mom said don’t say anything in front of Dad because she knew they could not afford it. My birthday finally arrived and I was excited because even if I could not get the red purse. I was allowed to invite friends for cake and ice cream.
After we finished our food my big 6ft. 4 in Dad came in to wish me Happy Birthday and in his hand he had the most beautiful red shoulder purse. My Dad looked 10 feet tall to me that day.
Happy Birthday our little handsome Thomas. Love Memom.

My best birthday ever was my 15th birthday party. It was a movie- themed party. My mom and I made invitations online that looked like movie tickets. A whole bunch of my friends came over and we played a karaoke game on the wii. Then, we went outside. My family had set up the breezeway with movie decorations. It looked beautiful with the fireplace started! We ate fried chicken and mashed potatoes from Babe’s Chicken. After that, we had chocolate cake with vanilla frosting that was decorated like a movie title but had my name on it and stars. To end the party, we watched one of my favorite movies, National Treasure, outside under the stars on a blow up projector screen. It was so much fun!

My favorite birthday so far probably has to be my 11th.
My mom, little sister, and I all went to the American Girl doll store. I picked out a doll named “Chrissa” as my birthday present. The author of Chrissa’s books was also there signing that day so I got to meet her, get my book signed, and get a picture with her, which made it even more special.
We got lunch at the AG Bistro and shopped around a bit more before heading home to get ready to leave for a big party with my extended family.
This was a really special day, and a birthday I’ll always remember. 🙂

Hope you have a great 11th b-day too, Thomas!

Oh, American Girls. My daughters loved them. Emma had Addy and Ellie had Molly. But we never got to visit an AG store. I heard they are amazing. What a great experience!

not sure if my first one went through it just disappeared off the screen so sorry if it is a duplicate.

My best birthday was the first one after becoming a mom for the first time. The birthday snuggles from my not quite 1 month old little girl were wonderful. Hard to believe she is now 13.

Now I have 2 amazing girls and their “Happy Birthday Mom” each birthday are the best gift ever.

Happy 11th Birthday Thomas, hope you have a wonderful day!

I have a really awesome (at least I think so) totally true birthday story. (sorry, I’m currently in the middle of a middle grade series. Get ready to see lots of “umms” and “really trulys”) But I’m going to write a fictional one because you said I could.

    *****

Hi, my name is Ashley Walowitz (let’s ignore that last part, shall we?) I am growing up in a two story house with my mom and dad and, sadly, my little brother (yes, Toddy! You are younger than me, no matter how many extra birthday candles you put in mom’s meatloaf last Thursday!)

I’m eleven. That’s right, you now have to count on your right hand twice! Unless, of course, you have three hands. If that is the case you are my new best friend. (You can wear fifteen rings from Mr. Makem’s gumball machine.)

Anyway, I’m getting off topic. I am turning twelve in three hours and fifteen minutes. I don’t think this birthday can beat the last one though. When I turned eleven my mom baked a chocolate cake (say that three times fast!) it was easily fifteen feet high. My Uncle Robby said I was exaggerating, but he is legally blind so I didn’t really listen to him.

Before we conquered the Godzilla cake we went to the movies where we saw a three headed dog guard a chessboard and three kids had to play to the death. This redheaded boy was quite dramatic. I don’t remember much more about the movie. I do remember waking up in the car and seeing all the carnival lights, though.

Toddy ate two caramel apples and kicked a clown in the shin. (Not the redheaded boy mentioned above) As my dad dragged him away from the blue faced man in polka dots, I saw the longest roller coaster that has ever lived. It had fire breathing powers and steam coming out of it’s long snout.

I’m sure you can guess what happens next. I had a funnel cake and an ice cream cone before I could convince my mom to let me go. It wasn’t as bad as the news crew, who was covering the state fair, portrayed it on television.

So, there it is. The Best Birthday Ever. I had a fifteen foot cake, that my mom wouldn’t let me eat when we got home, a deadly chessboard, a really mad clown, and a fire breathing dragon. To top it all off, the Arizona state fair has made me the official mascot for what not to do before you ride a roller coaster. I am very flattered but am not being compensated for all my efforts in the campaign.

*Bows* Stop throwing flowers, please, your embarrassing me. 😀 There is my totally fictional, totally awesome birthday story. Please realize this is not edited and was only glanced at before I clicked “submit”. -Jordan

My best birthday ever was my 16th. My parents and sister took me to see the musical Beauty an the Beast at the theater with the Broadway cast. I have never seen anything like it and will always remember it. I played in the orchestra at school so I was beyond excited to take a peak into the orchestra at intermission~
